Anything Else? Hale descends from a long line of Persian pureblooded wizards and witches who immigrated from Iran in the late 60s and integrated themselves into all levels of European power. His family are wealthy and elitist, providing only the best for their children. They have a publicly charitable face. Hale's mother and father are both politicians within the French government, though Hale speaks with a distinct British accent despite his schooling at Beauxbatons.
Within the Mizana family, periodically throughout the generations individuals are born with the ability to summon and command fire at will. Hale is pyrokinetic. His abilities are tied to his emotions, which causes him to be incredibly closed-off. He does not require a wand to perform this magic, as it is innate. There have been a few near-misses over the years. Afforded excellency by his upbringing and education, Hale is highly accomplished, disciplined and tightly controlled. His biggest downfall is his ego, which is substantial.
Hale is also an animagus, and can transform at will into a large, sleek leopard. The leopard is an Iranian symbol for luck and empowerment. He is registered with the local Ministry. His family prize all forms of magical expression and he was encouraged to learn to be as proficient as possible in every magical art, including the devotion of time to something as arduous and grueling as this. Even when many potions and spells exist to provide the same effect, Hale was expected to learn to transfigure himself properly.
